Officially it is the steal of the week!
The colour has matured like Autumn here with the initial vibrancy taking a back seat to show & how, the fruit. Wow! Flavour is kicking along beautifully. Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon, with a small amount of Pinot Noir this new addition to the range embodies the freshness and vibrancy that Mornington Estate has become known for. A semi sweet style with savoury tones , the little used technique of whole bunch pressing red grapes was employed for this wine while cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks has accentuated its lifted aromatics and clean blackberry & cassis fruit flavours. Great afternoon wine , with cooler daytime BBQ's or just in the afternoon making the perfect Aperitif and for this value you would be mad to go anywhere else! Enjoy while it lasts.

Eye catching brilliant pink, the wine is clean, fresh and has an inviting berry fruit nose. Aromas of vanilla bean ice-cream and fresh strawberries leap from the glass. The palate is fresh and lively with a lovely creamy texture and some big, rich juicy cabernet characters powering through. The finish is long, lingering fruit flavours carry through the palate which finishes with firm tannins and a touch of sweetness. The perfect wine to enjoy on a spring or summers day.

The McPherson Cabernet Rosé has a vibrant fuchsia pink colour with a lightly perfumed nose of crushed strawberries and raspberries and just a hint of musk which follows through onto the fresh and lively palate. I particulary enjoy the abundance of flavour backed up with deeper colour in this vintage as the lack of water for this vintage had a positive effect on the wines brilliant colour and smaller berries enhanced flavour across the palate.
