This wine is exclusive to Wine Box Warehouse and an absolute treat! A spicy little Shiraz number from a low yielding vintage with all the hallmarks... Dark fleshy Cherries, berries, pepper and spice.
The Majority of fruit from Langhorne Creek really shows varietal strengths and are just in your face from the first sniff. Mature vine fruit is evident by hearty earthy/plum chocolate characters. A huge lick of sweet fruit and some lovely balance with Oak and overall length combined with nice tannins make this a pretty sensational deal at around $29.00 dollars let alone this price! All round we have a very good buy for you here indeed! Get your hands on this one before it vanishes.

A medium bodied colour but with lovely vibrant purple hues. Lifted red berry Cabernet Sauvignon and cedar/tobacco fruit aromas. Background sweet oak adds to the arresting bouquet. The blend then just takes off and includes succulent a Shiraz component which adds body and richness to the palate and pepper/spice flavours.
The Merlot is just one big old juicy, mulberry component that fills the mid palate and heightens the overall lush length of this wine wonderfully. 
Mainly aged in older oak and the ripe fruit tannins provide length and balance. A drink now style that will further soften with medium term bottle maturation. Excellent fruit flavours and balance.

The Yealands Way Pinot Noir displays dark cherries and ripe plum flavours with spice and chocolate notes. Full bodied, with an elegant structure and a rich mouth feel.

The Yealands Pinot Noir was sourced from a single vineyard located in the Wairau Valley. Extended sunshine hours combined with a long, relatively cool growing season resulted in optimal fruit development. Soils here are a combination of free draining gravels with a shallow calcium deposit which retains water, reduces vine vigour and reduces the requirement for irrigation in spring and early summer. Yields were restricted by pruning to low bud numbers and shoot and bunch thinning ensured fruit quality was fully optimised.

Dark purple/dense crimson in colour this ominous wine broods while it waits for you to unleash the beast within. Your senses are heightened with uplifting notes of black fruits, dark plums and chocolate with hints of blackberry and spice. The palate exudes black fruits, with dark chocolate and mocha notes. Excellent combination oak treatment has provided fine tannins with good acid balance and persistent flavour.

Always understood as a premium Chardonnay growing district this little beauty has been painstakingly put together with the premium wine market in mind. The nose is gorgeously engaging with white pear and tight summer stone peach notes and some delicate lifted rose petal nestled in for good measure. 
The palate really excites though, with some exciting length and hints of cashews, nectarine and a quite whisper of French Oak combining for a perfect strike! All pins in a row! 
The perfect Chardonnay seems to me to meet the old and new styles, providing delicacy, body and exquisite wine making skills to produce some elegant creamy, nutty characters that delight from the first sip to the last!

You will be gob-smacked by this perfect Grenache example. Bright ruby in colour, it reveals luscious red fruits including cherries, strawberries and raspberries with delicate nuances of earthiness on the nose.
The palate continues with these bright red fruit aromas, but underscored is a fine sensation of white peppery spice. This elegant and medium-bodied style with almost Pinot Noir like characters is immediately enjoyable as the tannin structure is soft.
For all we know, this is one of the icon varieties grown in the McLaren Vale district and deservingly should receive a much bigger following - good for the ones who know!

This brand is about showing premium varietal strengths. Normally these lesser known grapes are the supports adding richness, tannin and colour to Shiraz but here they sing wildly expressing themselves as stand alone conquerors of flavour.

I think this Petit Verdot is spectacular, chewy robust mid palate length and spice with deep garnet colour from the first splash. Wonderful rich hearty fruit driven drink and well structured tannin levels that combine faultlessly to provide an award winning wine.

I don't care what you have heard or don't even know about this varietal, now is the time to either enjoy , exercise your adventurous side, or simply give up trying new styles because this is a winner on all fronts, and you are going to love it.

Lloyd Reserve Shiraz is produced from a single vineyard at Coriole that was planted in 1919. The soil and roots are extremely deep and generally no irrigation is required. It was rated as "excellent" in Langton's classified wines list, making it one of the top 67 wines produced in this country.

Deep crimson red, alluring with brilliant, purple hues. Rich, ripe black berry fruits on the nose with Satsuma dark Summer plum softness and rich black cherry generosity. Subtle oak use adds complexity and provides the structural framework whilst allowing the primary fruit to shine through.
A fruit driven and focused palate, with dark chocolate, berry fruit, spices and Christmas pudding characteristics. Fine, soft tannins complement the fruit and lingering soft finish. Ben Riggs and his magic wine making skills produce this wine and on first, second and now third impressions what a beauty!  This is one of the best I have ever been able to source for you.

The 2009 O'Riada Shiraz is made from fruit selected from five vineyards around the villages of Murrumbateman and Hall. The wine making included the use of preferment maceration, whole bunches, warm extended ferments, 5% co-fermented Viognier and twelve months maturation in French oak, 25% new. 2009 was a great year in the Canberra District. The warm vintage and lower than average crop combined to produce fruit with a deeper, darker dimension woven through the classic Canberra cool-climate spice. Blackberry, aniseed, dark cherry and black pepper; a potent dark fruit aroma leading into a long, densely textured palate.

Brand new 2008 vintage! A scrumptious, gloriously deep purple colour with enticing ruby hues. Black berry & black currant aromas, nice daubs of cassis and smidgens of macadamia and chocolate with some captivating oak undertones.

This is one of those benchmark vintage Shiraz you kick yourself for not buying a heap more of in 3 months time following your guests decision to raid your cellar every time they are over. Big, very juicy, with spice and all things nice. A unanimous choice as one of the best Pinot Noirs we've had the pleasure of tasting here at WBW. But be warned – IT NEEDS AIR! Open it up, decant, or at the very least leave the cork off for an hour or so. The flavours multiply after a bit of air time and are well worth the wait. Cherry, raspberry, coffee, mocha, truffles, they’re all there in spades and with a complex tarty, dryness that lengthens the palate perfectly. Such a simple label for such an intriguing wine. The mouth feel is round, evenly balanced with truly varietal flavours with spice and fruit combined. The finish is long and concentrated. It will excel with duck served in any style.
